About

Riverbend Veterinary Services is a mobile veterinary practice dedicated to providing high-quality, on-site veterinary care to cattle and small ruminant producers in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, and surrounding areas. Our focus will be on preventative medicine, reproductive services, diagnostic testing, and emergency care, tailored to the unique needs of beef cattle, as well as sheep and goat operations in the region.

Rachel K. Miner, DVM

Dr. Rachel Miner is the owner and founder of Riverbend Veterinary Services LLC, a mobile large-animal practice based in Saint George, Kansas and serving Pottawatomie County and the surrounding areas.A graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Miner completed the Food Animal Veterinary Certificate Program, further sharpening her expertise in beef cattle medicine, herd health, and rural practice. She is also a proud member of the Veterinary Training Program for Rural Kansas, a selective initiative that prepares veterinarians to serve agricultural communities across the state.

 

Dr. Miner is passionate about supporting local cattle producers with practical, evidence-based veterinary care. Her focus is on cow-calf and stocker operations, with special expertise in herd health planning, reproductive services, vaccination protocols, and preventive medicine tailored to the needs of Kansas beef herds.

 

Her goal with Riverbend Veterinary Services is simple: to help producers keep their herds healthy, productive, and profitable — while strengthening the agricultural community she grew up in and continues to call home.
